This preset has two of Helix’s Top Boost model (Essex A30) configured in stereo into two 212 cabs. It has that classic AC30 Top Boost Chime without being shrill or thin, even at high volumes.

Footswitches:

1. Vibrato on/off

2. Single Coil / Humbucker footswitch. LED Off = single coil, LED On = humbuckers.

3. 1/8 note delay

4. Dotted 8th note delay

5. Toggles between the Plate and Glitz reverb models

8. Amp Drive up/down

9. “More” switch. Turns on a “transparent” overdrive for additional drive without a lot of coloration.

10. Tube Screamer - Great for big leads or a solo

11. “Reverb +/-” - Toggles the mix and decay on both reverb blocks up and down. Use in conjunction with footswitch 5 for a total of 4 different reverb “presets,” all with tails, using up only two footswitches.

12. Tap/Tuner

Important note for users running mono: In order to widen the stereo spread, this preset has a 100% mix delay before the amp on path 1B. If you run mono with your Helix, you will need to bypass or delete this block or you will experience some phasing issues when the amps are summed to mono at the output.
